I suggest the govt. should take steps for the demand side , the consumer should have money to spend . The fastest way to put extra money in people's pocket is to increase term deposit rates , short term rates should be increased to 10% and long term to 12% , with lock-in . Govt. can expect lot of money deposits in the banks . Also just like public sector , pvt sector should be told to design salaries in accordance with 7th pay commission . Similar pay scales should be applicable in pvt sector

Standard deduction for salaried employees should be raised to be more realistic. It is very much fair and just of the NDA government to restore Standard Deduction which was unfairly removed by Mr. PC in 2005.

Also, some of the limits should be made inflation indexed so that those need not be amended as part of the budget exercise.

Reg full tax rebate for income upto Rs.5 lakhs, those earning above Rs.5 lakhs should get a marginal relief. if income in Rs.500100 tax can't be above Rs.100.

My suggestions are mostly for developing entrepreneurial spirit. Nation must make business risk taking bit more easy. For that I suggest following

1) Waive off education loan of those who choose the path of entrepreneurship after IIM,IIT. One can't start an entrepreneurial journey with huge education loan on their shoulders. This will also create more employment #Entrepreneurship #Employment

2) Do away with 10% income tax TDS requirement for those who are also paying the GST. #IncomeTax

When a foreign entity announces to invest in India, a central govt officer from the Ministry of Commerce must be appointed as a person-in- charge to assist the foreign entity with all the government related incorporation and tax compliance procedures and advising them with all legal matters, so that the proposed investment turns into Real Investment on ground benefitting the society as soon as possible!!!
Please take efforts to make this possible !!!
Thank you !
